10 Things You Should Never Wash Down Your Drains

Now there are a lot of things you should never put down the drain in your home and here is a good list to start with:


  1. Coffee grinds
  2. Egg shells
  3. Female hygiene products
  4. Paper towel
  5. motor oil, transmission oil, anti-freeze, or other toxic chemicals
  6. Solvents, paints, nail polish, polish remover
  7. Flammable or explosive substances
  8. Acidic substances 
  9. Baking goods
  10. prescriptions or over the counter medications
There are some easy steps to unclog your kitchen sink with a plunger. 

  1. Fill the sink with partially with water
  2. Position a plunger over the drain
  3. Work the plunger up and down
  4. Open the drain and see if water starts to drain down
  5. If the drain is still clogged keep using the plunger until the clog is dis-clogged
